It's the weekend! There's no school on Monday! :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA YOU'RE THE CUTEST SWEETEST BEST GRANDMA EVER!
I went to the Hokkaido Food Fair in Tampines Mall with mum yesterday and Michelle was so wrong about it being not nice! Okay, fine, it sooooo squeezy and crowded and everything there was so expensive but they taste fantastic! I got a salt caramel croissant and sweet potato cakes with custard cream and they're AMAZING. Mum said maybe we could go again on Monday morning when it wouldn't be so awfully packed.
I was SO shocked when Hopkins managed to think out a seating arrangement for our class which made us 6 able to sit together that was actually GOOD! And our class voted for it! But later on it got changed, but we still got the six-seaters Hopkins taught of. And I always thought she was just a useless duck-mouthed girl who longed after George Sampson!
We were supposed to watch Transformers on Monday but Alrissa didn't wanna go out and then Michelle said she couldn't go cos of her 'groomer'(!?) and then Alicia said maybe she couldn't go then Alrissa suggested a movie marathon at her or my house so we're gonna have one! Amd eat cheap ice-cream at the same time! Illene suggested a teasure hunt and treasure hunts are SO fun but my house's so small! Maybe if we went to Sam's instead? :D

It's the last weekend for the holidays! >:(
CIP was kinda fun. But we didn't really do anything! Just registered people and played board games. And Hopkins SO liked a guy there, but he spoke weird! But they were really nice. And when we were on the train, an indian woman was rushing towards the doors but they closed, and Hopkins was like "ha!" or something. She's is the racist-st person EVER!
Since school's starting I'd better maximise my Sims 3 and Sally's Spa!

Watched Hannah Montana with Boston Cream Pie Sam today. It's a funny show! And Sam kept saying that Lucas Till wasn't good-looking 'cos of his "small face and thick neck" which is so not true! Then we had lunch at MOS Burger and I ordered a shrimp burger which was really good but wasn't exactly healthy then Sam helped me find Char's birthday present!
I was so close to getting two day off school! I was watching the news two nights ago and they were saying those that came back on the 22nd onwards from affected countries only need to go back to school on like wednesday, and I was SO happy and then yesterday Mr Tan called and asked if I was feeling unwell and since I wasn't I had to go back to school per usual. But if you went to somewhere like Hong Kong or even Thailand you could go back t school earlier, and hugehugehuge China wasn't counted!? PLUS MY BROTHER HAS A FEVER! SO THAT MEANS I HAVE A TEENY BIT OF A VIRUS TOO, RIGHT!?
I'm having CIP with Hopkins tomorrow, hope it ain't awful! I was checking the volunteer opportunities in December and almost everything's already fully booked! SLOW DOWN PEOPLE

Class outing was real fun, even though I didn't spend it as a class. Charlene and Shaw and Javana and Chelsea and me just went to the theme park for the whole day. I finally sat right at the end of the Viking! And there was a really good-looking guy behind me when I sat at the second-last seat. And the guy who served Charlene her burger was really good-looking too!

Dad took so many pictures in Shanghai! It was so fun there, much better than Hong Kong.

P.S Sorry, the pictures got screwed up so pictures on the 20th and 21st are lost!

On the plane I stayed up the whole time and watched He's Just Not That Into You and Phoebe(:D) In Wonderland. When we checked into the service apartment we slept till noon and then we had lunch at the subway and ate xiao long bao and then went to this huge mall 'cos H&M was there. The clothes there are really pretty and not expensive! I got two skirts, one pink and one purple. We ended up spending almost 2000 yuan there! We bought tickets to this circus-y show, then had dinner at a hotpot(steamboat) restaurant, which was so much better and cheaper than the ones here, and they had a million condiments too. By the time we finished the show was starting already so we ran to theatre and omg it was AMAZING. It's like a world-class show but the cheapest ticket was only $16 SGD and we still had a great view. If you visit Shanghai it's a total must to see the show.

Visited the Yuyuan bazaar today. I went there for my primary 5 school's China trip, but we didn't really see the shops. Bought paper-cuttings of our family and tea, then had xiao long bao for lunch and it's really good. We went to this garden-like place in the bazaar and it's quite pretty. I bought a gorgoeus russian doll outside it! At night we went to The Bund and this huge arcade called the Player's Arena and sat on some rides there. After that we had dinner at this Italian restaurant and the food was SO cheap and good. My meat sauce risotto was only $2! So in the end, 1 appetiser+2 soups+1 drink+6 main courses+2 desserts=$30!

Took the trian to a water town called Tong Li. Although it was economy, it was still very comfy and nice. The water was really pretty and serene but it would have been better if we went during a cold season. We sat on a boat and a fish jumped into it! Walked past the Cultural Sex Museum and there was this statue of a male with a really long penis. YUCK!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIE, hope you liked the card mama bought fpr you which I picked! Went to the Science and Technology Museum today! It's HUGE and totally made up of glass. It was kinda cool but quite boring at some parts. But the last section we went to was insanely fun because it's totally interactive! On the way out I had an ice-cream cone and it's light and fluffy and like icy rich whipped cream! We attempted to go to the French Concession afterwards but we couldn't find it, plus it was raining and I was wearing flip-flops so it was real disgusting. Maybe if we come back to Shanghai again we'll be able to get there!

Didn't do much today, just went back to the Science and Technology Museum mrt station cos there were many shops there. I managed to get a really pretty bag and a plaid-ish skirt! At night we went to Xin Tian Di, this upmarket place with expensive bars and cafes and restaurants. It's a really sweet-looking place though, very French-y. Jie loved it there because they had the kinds of clothes she liked and they had Cheap Monday jeans she wanted and but haha they were so expensive.

Our last day! Watched Pay It Forward, this really cool movie about a kid has an assign We went to the TV Tower because we wanted to go the History Museum/Aquarium but the tickets to the Aquarium were really expensive so we went to the museum instead which was a really good choice since it was really cool and wasn't boring at all. Had hotpot for lunch and it was really good and reasonable and had the best peanut butter sauce. Went to Cold Stone Creamery for dessert and I had cheesecaked ice-cream with graham crackers and it was awesome! Jie and Aaron and me went to the arcade one last time while mum and dad packed everything. Said goodbye to the apartment and then we were at the airport! I watched Coraline on the plane and it's a real scary show. The plane touched down at 5 and I was back!
